Today we worship in either the Age Concern Hall. The existing church building in Bute Terrace has served us well since 1837, but due to its current state of disrepair, we can no longer use it. Now is the time to relocate and build a new church which will have facilities “Not Just for Sundays” but for the wider community.
Our location will still be on Bute Terrace but further along the road next to the Primary School. We are still finalising the drawings and need planning approval, but the estimate costs for this project falls between £750,000 and £1m. We see this as a significant challenge, nonetheless we believe with God’s help this can be done.

Fundraising: Making it Happen
Local giving – over the years, we have had many fundraising events. A big thank you to all who have organised and attended these events. Watch the notices in the Sunday Services, and on the website, for details of future events. If you have any ideas or would like to run an event, please contact a member of the Local Fundraising Committee.
Our on-going activities continue with:
Gold and Precious Metals – this has proved to be very successful financially, even the smallest amount of items proves to be of value.
Lighthouses/Smartie Tubes – any loose change can make a difference.
Grant Applications – to date the following organisations have supported us to the value of £192,000, to which we are very grateful and encouraged.
PF Charitable Trust
The Ferguson Bequest Fund

We are still continuing to apply for grants, in order to enable us to complete the new church build project.
We would be delighted if you are able to share our vision and support us in whatever way you can.
